Question about the miniglide

Has anyone tried the minglide? I got mine today and was quite surprised to see that it does not have temperature control. This thing heats up to 392 degrees which is hot and frightens me. Has anyone tried it and if so what was your experience. I am afraid this thing will fry my hair. I think that I will be sending mine back.

WHOA! i wasnt aware that the miniglide didnt have a temp control, thats insane! at its hottest, the maxiglide goes up to 428, and i only use it on setting 3 o4.....i would be afraid to use that thing too, girl....

Where did u order yours from? 392 degrees? I haven't got mine yet, so I don't know what I'm gonna do. How could they not put a temp control on it? crapola!

I ordered it from internet shoptv or something like that. I am sending mine back tomorrow. No way I am going to keep this. Maybe I will order the maxiglide since it has temperature control on it.

I'm afraid to put the maxiglide on 3/4, I keep it on 1......

The miniglide is not a good product. I tried it out of curiosity and it didn't even straiten my hair a bit. All that heat for nothing! crap! It's going back where i got it!

I didn't even try mine. I just sent it back because no way was I going to use that thing on my hair.
