Question about shedding?

I amd having the ususal shedding and everything. But sometimes when I do my hair I notice some short hairs that I would think was breakage but they have white bulbs on them. Is that hair that shedded prematurely?

I THINK that it could be hair that previously split or broke off and thats why its short but has the bulb. Ive seen those too. or u know how the nape of your neck and edges have those baby hairs? it could be those too.
