i 've used this three times. the first time i used it my hair came out really soft and i tried not to use too much because the jar says you only need a little bit. i used it today and i admit i did use a lot because i felt my hair needed extra moisture. i kept it in my hair for about an hour and a half and when i washed it out my hair didn't feel soft at all. i just used the silk touch leave in which usualy makes my hair soft and that's not even working. my hair feels dry. i don't know if it's because i left it in too long but has this ever happened to anbody?

A lot of people don't like the NTM Mask because it doesn't work that well for them. Many, like Sylver2, prefer the Daily Deep Conditioner instead. Anyway, I would suggest clarifying and giving it another try. If they don't work then, I'd move on to another deep conditioner.

Most of the people that like the mask said that to only use a little bit of it.
So that might have been the problem, you used to much. Do what you did the first time you used it and use a small amount.
Personally..I use the daily deep conditioner.

I don't have a problem with the mask....you only need a little as indicated...
the difference between the mask and the DDC is ...it's a mask/thicker in texture.

The ingredient list is similar...the difference is the concentration of the main ingredients.....

Like Cincy said, perhaps try a clarifier and give it another go if you'd like.

It may simply just not agree with your hair. It happens.
