Question about Colorshines Rinse

Do you HAVE to wash your hair before appling the rinse? I am so lazy and just want to get it over with. Thanks for the help.

The bottle says to wash, but I have just wetted my hair and applied it with no problem

When I applied Sebastian Colourshine, I always shampooed my hair first (as the directions indicate). I'm just not that bold when it comes to taking chances with my hair.

i'd say yes because your hair won't be able to hold the color if your hair is already dirty or filled with conds. I always use the cinnamon one and when i shampoo real good and let my hair dry about 75%, then apply the rinse, i get the best results. Or when i do a rinse right after a relaxer...my color is like WHOA!!!

How does cinnamon come out on your hair? I notice that your hair is dark like mine and I usually use coffee bean or neutral brown.

Lisa23 - I definitely wash first but it's usually a quick one since I don't shampoo that often. I usually condition wash.

I would say that u should shampoo first. The rinse seals the hair cuticle. You dont want to seal in dirt.

ITA: I also do a quick wash with a shampoo that no no slip in order for the color to hold and also let it dry 70% .

How long does the color last? I just put Brilliant Brown on my hair, and it is waaaayyyyy to dark for me
