I've been an "air" dryer for years now. Yet lately, (the last 2 time I've washed) I've used a blow dryer. My blow dryer has a comb attachment, (which I think may be irrelevant to this post) and a cool shot button. What I've been doing, is using the dryer with the button taped down so that I'm drying completely with cool air.

Is this still damaging or is it only using the heat that causes damage? I like using the cool shot for my entire drying time because, A. I think it's safe and B. it quickens my drying time.

What do you all think?

It's healthier, the cool air actually closes the cuticle and lays it down flat. :)
