Quantum Hair Staightner

I have naturally curly hair and it gets really frizzy this time of year when I want to wear it straight. I currently am growing my relaxer out. I only have 2 inches left on my ends and want to wear my hair straight sometimes with out my edges getting frizzy. Has anyone used this product? If so, can you post a review and tell me if you liked it?

ETA yup the box says it's the japanese hair straightener

Is this like a curly perm - wave nuveau-esq but you dont curl the hair?
