I purchased this as well but have yet to try it, I currently am wearing a weave so I dnt wanna use t yet as soon as I do I'll be back with reviews

Darn!!!I have been happy w/ my other QB products and haven't been purchasing anything else but, now that I know the 'poo is out...(left to go to the Qhemet site to purchase shampoo):look:

I don't see how this could possibly go wrong. I love to drink wheatgrass so it's probably wonderful on the scalp. I love the way she gets outside the box with her ingredients.

She's one of my handmade mixologist inspirations.

Reformulated!

Our Egyptian Wheatgrass Cleansing Tea is a nutrient rich, sulfate free shampoo for dry hair. It produces a dense (low poo) creamy lather that rinses clean, leaving hair soft and replenished. Mild enough for daily use.

Key Ingredients:

Organic Kosher Egyptian Wheatgrass - This ancient grain was first cultivated along the Nile Basin over 7000 years ago. With a 20 - 40% higher content of lipids, amino acids and vitamins, it is nutritionally superior to common wheat. In hair care, Egyptian wheatgrass conditions the scalp and strengthens hair follicles. Ancient healers applied it to the scalp in the form of a paste to prevent shedding.

Organic Kosher Barley Extract - An ancient sister grain to wheat, some historians believe that it was first grown ca. 8000 in Ethiopia although most place its origins in the middle east. Modern research has identified substances in Barley that are believed to promote hair growth. Barley extract helps smooth cuticles and seal in moisture.

Organic Kosher Alfalfa Extract - Its natural saponins help remove build up and replenish nutrients.

MSM Sulfur - Reinforces the hair matrix and restores sulfur at the hair bulb level to Cysteine and Methionine, two of the sulfur dependent amino acids responsible for hair texture and strength.

Honey - Natural humectant that delivers intense moisture and softness to dry, brittle hair.

Our Egyptian Wheatgrass Cleansing Tea was specifically formulated to provide the ultimate in scalp nutrition. Gently cleans without stripping.

Oh dang I gotta have it!

Has anyone ordered directly from her site? What was your experience?

I ordered some products from the site last month, and it took almost 2 weeks to get them. But I expected that; it says so right in her disclaimer that because the products are handmade, shipping can take up to 2 weeks. Can't complain about that.

Maybe now that she's making a killing off of LHCF members, she can hire some additional staff members to help speed things up...;)

Ain't it the truth?? What products did you get? I want the Herbs and Sulfer and the Wheat Grass Poo. I've been reading about how harsh SLS is for relaxed hair and all my poos have it in them

I got the Amla Oil Pomade (love it, I use it as my scalp "grease") and the Conditioning Detangler (which I wound up selling - it didn't do much for me). I would love to try the Herbs and Sulfur Pomade next, but this Amla one is gonna last a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG time, I can tell!

As for SLS-free shampoos, I'm really digging Elucence. It seems to clean my hair better than CON and still leave it soft.

that ingredient list is impressive. Hopefully curl mart will keep it in stock so we wont have to wait 4eva

I ordered and received it too but I have not had the chance to use it yet. I am planning to redo my twist for the Holiday so hopefully if I don't get too busy, I will wash my hair with it but I may not buy it again because it's castile soap based and I already use pure castile soap mixed with MSM water and I figured if I just add Wheatgrass to it then I'm good. :)

P.S
I want to get rid of the Alma Oil Promade (really don't need it) and the Indian Macassar Conditioning Hair Oil that did nothing for my hair and I strongly believe it burnt my scalp...like made it stink when I got some of it on there. So Pm if anyone wants to purchase those products

Castile soap :( I'm not too excited over castile soap poos :(

Let us know how it works!

it's not a castile soap. she said on another site that the soap bar and baby wash were castile based but the shampoo wasn't.

i'll be placing my order soon! :woot:

That shampoo so sounds like conditioner to me (rather than shampoo), I would prolly just let it sit on my hair, rinse it out, do a leave in and call it a day (especially after a workout)

I've only ordered from her website and and she's been great:) I've received my orders within a week. The next time I use the poo,I'll just use it w/o clarifying. It was really nice and creamy though...It didn't sud up like a regular poo which Is really helpful to me right now because I'm going on 20 weeks post.My hair just felt a little stripped but got back to normal quickly.
