I'm hearing great things about this line, but I am not sure what I want to try. I generally lead to heavier products because I like the weight in my hair. Also, something that is moisturizing would be great. What products do you use and what do they accomplish? Their site doesn't have too much detail.

I've used the Olive and Honey Balm and I LOVE it! It has a little weight to it, it's really thick and has the consistancy of honey. It also has a light honey scent :lick: Honey Balm made my hair sooo soft and moisturized, and it gave a nice and healthy sheen to my hair too :yep:

ETA: Your siggy pic is so funny and cute!

I have the burdock root butter creme and I use it after each co-wash/wash day before I put a little oil on my hair to seal it then braid/bun. It smells nice and keeps my hair moisturized even though I'm not natural.

I tried the olive cream conditioner and detangler, but I was using it like a conditioner after my wash (with some coconut oil) and washing it out. It smells yummy because of the coconut cream in it! I wouldn't be able to tell you how it worked the way it was supposed to be used.

Best advice I can give you is to try the sampler. You get 4 products and I'm sure you'll find a favorite. The Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm is like no other product out there, but I also like the Amla and Olive Heavy Cream. I've been using these products as my leave-in for the last month, so I will leave my full judgement when I'm about 12 weeks stretch.

Again get the sampler, I don't think you'll regret it!!

I have:

-Amla Oil Nourishing Pomade that i use on my scalp. It's okay. Keeps my dandruff at bay. I get NO shine from it though and its pretty light and goes on scalp in a clearish, almost yellow tint.

-Honey and Olive Balm: I liked it. Used it on hair and scalp and it stayed moisturized and soooo soft...a little sticky though and sticky when i ran that comb through hair also. Subtle sheen. I got the sample size.

-Burdock Root Butter Creme: Smells nice also, white, creamy consistency that i didnt like cause you HAVE to put it in hair well to disappear. I got the sample size in this.

Hey I LOVE Qhemet products!

I wash and condition my hair in about 6-7 sections. I use the honey balm on my wet/damp hair after washing and deep conditioning. Then I use the heavy creme and twist my hair. (About 21 twist in my head: breaking up each section in two or 30) I don't have to use a leave in when I use these products...it serves the purpose of a leave in and moisturizer.

Let it air dry for the day. Then wear a twist out like in the picture below.

My natural hair feels SOOOO much more softer since I began using Qhemet products weekly.

Also: I feel these products work better if you are trying to maintain twists, fros, puffs, etc....not wash and go's
