putting perm rods in!

Ugh I just did this and I know they sloppy as idk what. I had to do the same section so many time because they were too lose and hanging about 2 inches from my scalp. Is there a certain method or technique to doing a perm rod set? Yes I looked at youtube videos and it looks so easy and simple

I tried Naptural85's tutorial and it turned out great. I think you could use this method on almost any type of roller.




I used ecostyler and pretty much followed her instructions to a tee. It's nice and bouncy and I pineappled to get 2nd day hair.

Her method looks like it would work on my 4c coils, I can't wait to try it!

I'm relaxed and this is how I do my flexi sets. I don't use anything for hold and just dampen my hair with water. Teh curls last a day or two and then I reroll.
