Purchasing Assistance PLEASE! (EO's)

I'm using www.fromnaturewithlove.com to purchase my Essential Oils to make my own hair serum with the MTG that I'm ordering.
But I dont know which kind to get.
There are 6 kinds.

From what I have read, I know the fragrances that are most used, peppermint, rosemary.. feel free to add.

But which kind do I buy? The Organic, water soluble, Blends, there are Kits, CO2 extracts and Conventional..

Help Please?

IMO- Organic for sure. Pesticides can alter the natural chemical composition of an oil.

I use steam distilled. From what I've 'read' CO2 may be a good option, but if there's a big difference in price (between steamed) I dont know if it's worth it.

Oils I'd start out with-
Rosemary, Lavandar, Ylang Ylang, Rosewood, Geranium, Sandlewood, Lemon and Tea-tree. Warning.. if your a pj- dont run out and purchase all I'd use like a mixture of 3-4 at time. These oils are good multipurpose oils. However, the oils you purchase will depend on what results your tring to achieve.

oh yeah, I ordered my oils well over a year ago so I don't remember which type I bought. 9 times out of 10 and knowing me, I went the most economical route

Well I can understand the economical route, but then again I dont want to buy the cheapest because it may not be the best, or good enough even.

I see your from Philly, and I've gotten some Peppermint, and Eucalyptus oil from the Carribean market on Walnut street right b4 chestnut. It was only like $1.29 for one ounce. but at least you can try it out to make sure it work b4 ordering and pay shipping and handling, you know. The way I rid the smell of my MTG is by: I take a plastic container and mix 4 tbs of Come back hair cream (it only has 4 ingredients and none of them are mineral oil nor petroleum), 2oz of MTG, Amla oil, Brahmi oil, Jajoba oil, Castor herbal Hair oil. I mix it up w/my finger or spoon and I have my own hair grease w/out the bad stuff. It's easy to apply (no running), it smells normal (excellent), lol, and it's definately working. No MTG smell at all.

Where on Walnut is the Caribbean Market Located (cross streets)? TIA I wonder if they sell that La India hair creme that was mentioned in a previous post.

LOL, it's on the right side if your driving up walnut closer to 52nd, you can't miss it. They also sell Jamaican black castor oil. There are 2 of them, this one is much bigger and they have oriental's working at the front counter (I thought that was weird since it's a carribean market but hey, at the one on 52nd b4 haverford st they had it set up the same way) the orientals working the front and pple from the carribean working in the back.

WHen I read about EOs on this site, I dont think about what is sold regularly in stores, I just figure those oils are too diluted or something.
I'll go down there, I wish I knew that before I got home, it's on my way home from work.

You never responded to the Philly ladies thread ( or I dont recall).. are you in Philly?

Yeah, I'm from philly, I just didn't get to go to the last meeting and for religious reasons some places you just won't catch me at. But I may have missed the Philly ladies thread, and my good friend sure didn't tell me it was one. I'll have to see if she saw it yet. But I found alot of places here that sell the things I either already ordered or was tempted to order, so let me know if there are any other things you would like to try. I know there is a Vitamin Shoppee down town, and Natures Nutrition on 75th and haverford. Plus if your interested in Domincan products there is BSS that have a whole aisle of dominican products... Oh yeah and if you want to try any india oils I know where to get them too, lol...

BSS= Beauty Supply Store, I don't go down town either seems like once you start driving you can access other places, lol, but a friend of mine who's a member here also stays down town shopping her behind off, lol, and she told me that's where her soon to be hubby gets his vitamins from and it's one down town...

The hair store I go to is on Baltimore Pike, right off the Church Lane/Baltimore ave junction. I'll have to ask someone in there for the Dominican products.

I've been there and they don't have no Dominican products there, you can go to this website to check them out, www.sickbay.biz and do a search on here to find out there benefits..
