My friend lives in Dublin, Ireland and she spotted a hair iron in the ladies' room. For 2 euros, you can straighen your hair at the bar and get back to drinkin'....

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen, no?

LMAO! I had to scroll back up to make sure I typed it out correctly. a "pubic" flat iron would be an absolute NO. lol!!!!

yeah, seriously. and i can't imagine that most bars would have a bathroom attendant that would be cleaning that mess after each person used it. i just... no. it's wrong. some girl could be in a fight and burn someone's face. or some drunkard could be using it and then pass out... or who knows!

B) Some people have nasty, dirty hair. Who knows how often that thing is cleaned and if it's being PROPERLY cleaned, at that?

People can also have a scalp fungus without knowing it. My SIL had a really itchy scalp and was losing patches of hair all around her head and didn't know what was going on. Went to the dr and he told her she had a scalp fungus. It's contagious, too. If you use the same brushes, combs or hair appliances period, you can kiss your hair goodbye erplexed

yeah.. my gym has a regular blow dryer and flat iron on the counter in the ladies dressing/locker room for everyone to use. I don't use it.. but I do see ladies using it. I don't use the shower at the gym either (I'm on my way home after the gym)... but hey they use them too.
