So I went to the BSS this past weekend and picked up a brochure for Sensationale's Bump Weave Collection and liked what I saw. And so I Youtubed it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa-FZP0U5_M) to see what came up. It turned out to be a tutorial/ commercial of how to apply the weave. I'm currently stretching (18 months post) and thought it would be a great little temporary protective style. And plus I think I can do it myself because it's' a glue-in with a wig cap protecting my hair and I've done it before successfully.

I just thought it would be good way to rock a short style without the commitment. I'm thinking about trying it out...it's only about $14.00 and I believe you only need one pack (if you split the wefts).

NEway, has anyone tried this before? I'm curious...I actually think it would be kinda cute.

Let me know your thoughts...Thanks

This is very cute.

The only thing I worry about is whether or not the cap would cause thinning around the hairline. My hairline doesn't do well with direct tension. It's why I have the cornrows for my weaves going straight back and not in the behive pattern.

If you do this PLEASE post pics as well as how it worked for you with the cap.

LMAO at the bump music. :lachen:

Yeah...LOL to the music... :lachen:

I'm excited enough to try it this weekend. I guess it wouldn't take no more than an hour to do?.?.?. I can't fathom going in the office on Monday with everyone like..."oh, you cut your hair" to everyone being confused :scratchch the following week when I put my shoulder length curly half-wig on!

Nevertheless, I'll give it a try and post my results.

Bumping b/c I just bought a 6" in. one today. Anyone have good results with this?

I used the 8" two months ago and made blunt cut bangs. It came out very nice considering it was my first quick weave. I split the wefts and followed MsChanda quick weave tutorial on YT.

The only downside is I don't like the extra tension it puts on my hair line when applying the wig and also when removing it. HTH!

I am wearing on now and I love it. I put on 2 wigs caps to prevent glue from getting on my hair. And if wig cap is too tight, jut it to loosen tension. On the wig cap is a band and I cut this off.

This is so quick and easy!
