Hi ladies,

I would like to wear my hair down. I wanted to know how to protect my ends from my clothes.
Or should I just not wear it down and kept it up.

When I wear my hair down I always scoop my hair to one side and make sure its out of the way of my seatbelt; and when I feel my hair getting snagged by those round metal thingys on some chairs, I'll tuck my hair into my blouse. Then when I'm up I'll just fluff it back out. I know it seems a bit fussy but I gotta do whatever it takes to protect my ends.

If your tops are mainly silk or satin, or you're wearing more skin baring clothing you should be OK with your hair down. You don't have to wear protective styles 24/7 to get the benefit either - try alternate days for example. You could also baggy your ends at night (use a very light oil) and wear your hair down in the day. See what works best for you WRT balancing esthetics vs. breakage. HHG!

It depends on how long your hair is. If it's right at your shoulder, I'd say keep it up. Once it gets past the shoulder it kind of lays down. When it's rigth at the shoulder there's friction from it moving back and forth.
