:congrats:... Girl you better werk that length. You retained quite nicely, imagine where you'll be this time next year *in my preacha man voice, "CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A BSL?!"..... No, but in all seriousness your hair is very pretty and healthy to boot :yep:.

Thanks EnExitStageLeft! And yes I'm shooting for that unicorn hair. ( round my area)

Toy I showed my dh your hair yesterday and he was like that's too long I was like no no you'll like it :)
Y'all are such a motivation I didn't know I could decide to have long healthy relaxed hair til LHCF.

My products

Shampoo- Shea moisture and black soap (for my eczema)
Leave in- garner sleek n shine, NTM, organix coconut milk, Shea butter, aveeno nourish conditioner spray with generic Joico split end mender mixed with it.
Oils- one n only argan, ev coconut oil, organix coconut oil
Dc/ rinse outs- NTM, Eden jojoba monoi, silk elements mega silk, CPR, 2min aphogee
The natural products, Eden black soap, and ev coco oil, are what I've been using since my eczema decided to visit my scalp

I shampoo every other week, dc every week and use protein every week
For styles I wear a foundation based donut, use a banana clip n pin, or do a twist out n wear it out or pinned up, usually pinned. I teach and am not an early riser so I wear it up prolly 90% of the time. I do a rod set when I'm feeling fancy or my new growth gets out of control.

I've used direct heat maybe 3 times in the last yr, no blow dryer, just flat iron, I alternate sitting under the hood with air drying- but usually air dry if I have time
I m&s every other day unless my hair feels dry and when it's really dry I Baggie for extended periods, never overnight because I sweat heavily
I tried to self relax...epic fail, so I go to the salon at min every 12 weeks, usually stretch longer over the summer because I'm off work.
When my hair was the length in the first picture I used this

image-319569516.jpg

It's like a French roll thingy
I also would do about 4 flat twist at night, untwist in the morning before work and used a banana clip to create a nice donut with straight pins or just loosely twist n pin in the banana clip- that banana clip lets u fake it til you make it.
