I have a Super Solano (around $125) and it works pretty well. I don't really use it that much but when I used to blow out after relaxers, it would work really well on straightening my roots.
I say it depends on your purpose for the dryer and the type hair you have. When I bought the dryer, the cashier (who was a Caucasian-American) said that she noticed the difference in her hair when she used the Super Solano instead of her regular dryer.
