Profectiv Mega Growth Deep Strengthening Conditioner

Has anyone used this as a protein conditioner? What about the profective mega growth lotion? I saw it in Walmart this morning and it claims to make the hair much stronger in order to stop breakage and attain length. If you have used it, did it do what it claims to do or were you still experiencing the same amount of breakage?

I have the conditioner and the lotion. If I had to say, they would be for medium protein. If you do a hardcore protein treatment on your hair, this won't replace it. I love the way the conditioner makes my hair feel. I primarily use it the first weeks after a relaxer. I have little if any breakage or that dryness that you can sometimes get after a relaxer.

The lotion is heavenly IMO. I use it to maintain my rollersets. I roll my hair up at night with it and it tames my thick hair even when I am 12 weeks post. It keeps my sets looking fresh and moisturized. And a little goes a long way! I love it! It's a good product IMO!

I'm a big fan of Profectiv products. I think I'm going to incorporate their conditioner in my regime and also their shampoo, if it doesn't have SLS.

I just started using the CON and like what it does for my hair. It smells good and the smell lasts. It makes my hair strong.

I use the deep cond. & growth lotion...I love the way it makes my hair feels...very soft, smooth & shiney! Also it does stop shedding and breakage! It has a wonderful smell too.
