Products that cause underprocessing???

Are there any products you guys avoid after your last wash b4 relaxer? I want to know if there are any products used on the hair can create a barrier so the relaxer won't penetrate?

I've MTG can cause a relaxer not to take.

Heavy Silicone use causes underprocessing for me. I only use cones for heat protecting on shampoo days and my relaxers are processing better now. I used to use them daily for shine and also in my leave-in. My current leave in has no cones.

Now I'm not sure if this is what you want - it's not about underprocessing, but protecting hair while relaxing.
