Hello, I need your help please:

I have a ton of products from Darcy's Botanicals, Hairveda, Mozeke, Quemet ect. that I believe would work best if my hair wasn't in twist (we won't talk about what compelled me to purchase all these products now instead of waiting:nono:), yet my plan was to keep my hair in kinky twist for the next year (with a month off for treatment in between each). I am anxious to try out all of my goodies, but feel that it may be wasted if I used them now. Do you think I would get the same benefit using my products on my hair while in extensions that I would get if I wasn't?

Please help, otherwise I may have to give up this PS.

I wouldn't use most of those while in extensions. In kinky twists most of it probably won't end up on your hair. If you have something that is a leave in or an oil, you can mix it with some water and spray that on. You still want to moisturize and seal even with the extensions.

I did the same thing. I purchased a lot of different things when I saw them and ended up waiting for 6 months to use them.

I don't know that you have to give up the protective style just because you want to use your products. Keep the protective style for whatever period you decided and then use your products during the interval in between getting it styled. I think a month is probably long enough to try most of the products at the same time helping you stay updated to any changes happening with your hair.

I took my kinky twists out in July and tried most of my products. I am putting my hair back up into kinky twists tonight though.

Honestly don't waste your hair products on extentions just use a leave-in conditioner and wait until your hair is out of the braids to use those products

YEAH!!!! I am not alone. That is great advice and one that I will [try to] follow.

ok ... I may end up taking out my hair sooner than expected ... I guess that means I have to stop being lazy and do the twists myself, no way am I spending $160 for twists and continuosly take them out early.
