Products for twisting/locking hair

My boyfriend want to gets twists, but his hair is extremely soft and curly. Our climate is pretty humid and hot, so what kind of products do you guys recommend to keep his twists in good shape and will keep a firm hold?

Miss Jessie's Curly Pudding is good for creating the twists and the Buttercreme is good for moisturizing. I have also found that Carol's Daughter Hair Mimosa is good for moisture as well.
