Okay so i wanted to try the Aussie 3minute miracle reconstructor whatever.
I washed my hair last night then put on the Aussie miracle and behold no miracle. I am trying so hard with this hair thing and i dont know if its working anymore.
I did megatek for 4 months yes my new growth is stronger but for real after using the mega tek nothing makes my hair soft anymore and yes ladies my hair is feeling like horse hair from how thick the new hair is but its driving me crazy.
I need help please i even tried the Neutrogena Triple moisture after wards to make it feel better and it worked at first until i rinsed it out my hair was coarse again but as i looked around what do i see but my lovely VO5 and that .75 cents thing worked better than everything . I was so mad i think im going back to my original Paul Mitchell products and see if that helps me out some.

Do you ladies have any suggestion i need my soft feeling hair back its driving me crazy to feel my hair even when i cowash

Ok I suggest you dc with something very moisturising. Also to mix it with essential oils that infuse your hair with moisture like coconut oil jojoba and all the good stuff. also when dc if your hair works well with going under the dryer go under there for 15-1 hour with a plastic cap.

also I ask whats your reggie?

Yep, that's a lot of protein over the 4 month period. Like the previous poster said, you need something extra moisturizing. I'm now 4 months post and it's important to keep the NG moisturized so I've been using some Dominican products like Miss Key Super Conditioner and Natural Key Extra Treatment Conditioner. Keracae Humecto has always been my go to moisturizing DC as well. Trying mixing some oil with the products you have.

You know what i cant keep up with this regi business but i use to cowash everyday but the weather is changing now.

Cowash 1x a week
Wash hair 1x a week
MN and sulphur 8 everyday
DC no heat for 15mins every wash and even on cowash days
Oil hair lenght and ends with EVOO

The changes in my hair happened after Megatek so i am not using not anymore

I am planning on going to BSS and purchase all my old Paul Mitchell products and see whats the issue after that but if you guys can help i will gladly take advice

I'll suggest clarify and then DC with a moderate protein con and maybe follow up with a moisturing DC. I always clarify when my hair is acting up and has a mind of its own so I can start afresh.

My hair doesn't like Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor either... I tried it a couple of years ago and it did absolutely nothing for my hair.

For me, moisturising cowash cons and quick fixes (everyone's hair is different):
Aussie Moist - FANTASTIC!
Herbal Essences - Totally Twisted ('It's a Curl Thing' in the UK) - BEAUTIFUL!

Some ladies prefer Hello Hydration to Totally Twisted.

Good luck.

Yea I think your reggie sounds fine but I think the conditioning should be upped... maybe co wash more or deep condish longer and/or add heat. It takes trial and error and Im sure your fustrated right now but you have to find out what works for YOU. Trial and error babes:bouncy::bouncy:!!!

Its crazy but i am so depressed right now about it oh well i will see what happens
:bighug:

You'll get it back on track. Either DC with no heat for much longer than the 15 minutes or use heat for 15 - 20 minutes. I must add that I've been doing the home stream treatment most of the time I DC.

I going back to my regular product before i became a product Junkie.

My sweetheart and ever loving Paul Micthell

Oooo Nooo . Don't give up. I am a MT fan as well, but I agree. The NG is like :angry2: :wallbash: to get through and you can tear out relaxed hair if you are not careful.

What has worked for me for NG is DC on dry hair. I use Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose. Sometimes I add additional ingredients (honey, sweet almond oil, Ayurvedic powders) to increase the conditioning, but it works fine by itself. I apply it with an applicator brush to my hair (like a relaxer) and then leave it alone. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes overnight. My ng comes out significantly softer and more manageable. When I overnight, I add henna and/or brahmi, the NG comes out darn near straight. I would not suggest the powders though, till you get the balance back on track. I do know the feeling though . . . I am still searching for a decent leave-in moisturizer for my NG.
:bighug: But don't give up.
