It worked pretty good. I bought this since my school has some extremely hard water. I like the smell and you can even use the shampoo as a body wash. Let me know if you need to know anything more.

Thanks for the review. I bet it smells good too. I remember the Ion products that I used before had a nice scent.

Re: Product Review: Ion Hard Water Shampoo & Cond.

Was the shampoo harsh (so as to remove the minerals)? Also, what are the main ingredients?
How did the conditioner make your hair feel?

And how much did it cost/How many ounces was it?

I was thinking of getting this once and I was wondering if any of you guys tried it.

TIA Champagne Wishes!

I apologize for not reponding but I have classes and homework to worry about and doing an internship search. But enough about me. Like usual, I watered down my shampoo because I find that the majority of shampoos dried out my hair. The main ingredients are Water, Sodium C14-16, Olefin Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate and Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate. I would type the ingredients but it's hard reading the list

. I like the conditioner. It smelled nice and helped with combing but not the best detanglers on the market. It made my hair feel okay but it was alright. I bought it on sale for 2/$4.99 at my local Sally's. I hope this helps. I will try to some here when I have time.

Oh I forgot to mention that the bottles are 11.5 oz or 340 mL for the SI people.

i bought the hard water conditioner today becuse it has an awsome ingredient list 2 types of wheat (wheat germ oil and wheat protein) my hair loves wheat germ oil and such so any more recent reviews??????????? ill list the full ingredient list when i try and give my own review

I absolutely love these products! I'm from Mississippi and the water is very soft. I moved to upstate NY for college and the water is ridiculously hard! My hair was always dry and felt grimy. You could see the mineral deposits in my hair no matter how much I shampooed :nono: I was using the shampoo by itself and that worked pretty well, but I've added the conditioner as well and my hair feels AMAZING now! It leaves my hair feeling soft and moisturized! If you're having hard water trouble, I would definitely recommend this product 100%!
