I have been a lurker for some time and I decided too finally post. I have a question. Do you think a product will work better if used with the entire line instead of by itself?
Hi AngelK...I'm an semi-newbie...I'm sure the OG's on the board will have good info regarding this.
But in my newfound experience...some items from product lines can be mixed, it depends on your hair I think and if the products are compatible...some like Elucence Shampoo but with Kenra Conditioner for example...
but I like the results from say using the Keracare Hydrating Shampoo along with Keracare Humecto and NTM Shampoo along with the NTM Conditioner.
Let's await more responses, shall we? LOL. And welcome to the board. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Well this is actually my experiment right now. I am using my main products by the same company that develops the relaxer. I have had a stylist tell me that this works out well because the products have complimenting agents, HOWEVER, I know many ladies on this board that do not do this. I have had positive results so far, but it has only been about a month since I started doing this.
I think some products are okay to mix-and-match, but I like to use the same line shampoo and conditioner (and leave-in if possible) when I shampoo my hair. Doing this gives me much better results.
I've just recently decided to stick with Kenra and Nexxus for now. They have been working well. I figure as expensive as they are I'm gonna use EVERY DROP.
