Does anyone have a method that actually works?

I base my scalp the day before and day of with the sensitive scalp base cream. and sometimes a little oil sheen

I base well the day before and I also base again the morning of my relaxer with Vaseline petroleum jelly. I have not gotten any burns. Oil sheens do absolutely nothing for my scalp's protection. I find that texlaxing by adding a little oil in the relaxer helps to minimize burns as well. Be warned though that texlaxing does not produce bone-straight results.

I used this for the first time and it is really good. I didn't burn at all.
