Post Partum Shedding??

How long did yours last and what did you do in the meantime? How long did it take your hair to rebound.? Does anything help?? Did you notice that your hair got noticably thinner?

My shedding started when my son turned 4 months old. I got it under control instantly when I started using Keraphix and Emergencee.
My son is now 9 months old and I hardly shed at all.

I alternate Keraphix, a moisturizing, emergencee, more moisturizing. I alternate with each washing.

I'm interested in any responses to this question. I'm going through postpartum shedding right now. So far it isn't too bad. But it freaks me out sometimes. I get big ol' clumps of hair in my comb. Luckily they seem to come out in whole strands. Not broken bits. How long does this last??

I am going thru as well.

I just read in my parenting magazine that is lasts about 4-6 months. I started using kerpahix and emergencee and its has gotten much better. I got my hair done today a Dom Salon and saw only little strands in the comb while she rolled. A month ago I was washing at home and has HUGE clumps of hair gone.

At home routine:
I use moist shampooo
keraphix (5 min in shower)
Moisterizing conditioner (5 min in shower)
jilbere shower comb for tangles

I alternate with emergencee (10 min in shower) bi weekly



I can't wait for this to be over.......

My daughter is 5 1/2 months old and I didn't go through post partum shedding. I'm breastfeeding so I'm still taking my prenatal vitamins and maybe it's helping.
