for mentioning this conditioner a few days ago.

I've always seen this in nubianjack but avoided it just because I thought it was a cheap no name product that would jack up my hair.

It was thin in consisteny, more like a shampoo than a thick conditioner I'm used to but gave it a go anyway.

I loved the slight slip to it had and the bottle said to leave it on for 30 seconds I was like

after I paid £3.99 for it I don't think so, so I put it on and left it under a shower cap for about 5-7 minutes while I washed the rest of my body in the shower, then proceeded to wash it out.

It felt really good and detangled and I have regrowth so it's an iffy time for me to be trying out new products

Thanks again BRH, I've been looking for a regular non deep conditioning conditioner for a long time now

Thanks for the review LD!

brh also mentioned it in her Feature of the Month regimen. I think it's a Revlon product (?). I'll have to put this on my list of products to try. What ingredients does the conditioner have?

You're welcome

Let me go and get the bottle

Prorosity Control Ph 4.5 I think I'll use this as soon as I rinse the relaxer out of my hair next touch up

Corrector & Conditioner
Equalizes hair porosity

Ingredients:
AQUA (Water)
Propylene Glycol
Dicetyldimonium Chloride
Oleyl Betaine
Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride
Lecithin
Lactic Acid
Parfum (Fragrance)
DMDM Hydantoin
Methylparaben
Propylparaben
Mica
Titanium Dioxide
C.I. 61570 (D&C Green #5)
C.I. 60730 (EXT D&C Violet #2)

A whole load of stuff non pronounceable, it's a satiny blue colour.

I use this on my already processed hair before a t-up (sometimes I mix with cholesterol). It is also good to use before a color to even the porosity of the hair.

I hope this isn't a dumb question....but what is the purpose of 'porosity control'? Whey do we need it? I'd like to know because it sounds good...I just want to know why(I hope I'm making semse...)

It says on the bottle that it helps create a more uniform colour, perm and relaxer results.

How I don't know, I just like what it does for my hair.

i used to use it all the time but then i never heard about it when i starting browsing hair boards so i switched to other products. now im gonna start using it again cuz it was really good. i think ill mix it with cholestoral too.

LD, can you use it as a regular conditioner or is it only for colours and perms? I saw it when I went to PAK this weekend, (I think you told me about it, believe me I was in PJ heaven!!). Anyway, I saw it there but because it was cheap I didn't think it was any good, but I think I'll try it!

LondonDiva!!! I'm glad you like it and gave it a go. Its not bad eh?

It was recommended to me years ago by a hair stylist and I always liked although 9/10 I mix it with something else e.g. Motions Moisture Plus. Its a great detangler. I never leave it on for the 30 seconds that's ridiculously short if you ask me

Thanks for the review LD. Someone suggested I try this conditioner on another thread. I'll be sure to give it a try soon.

My OLD Stylist recommend this product to me because my hair was holding a lot of water. It was taking my hair about 2 hrs to dry under a HOT dryer. I'm not sure how it works but when I started using it in between salon visits she was able to cut my dry time to a little over a hour and a half.

Lunalight7 since joining the board I would say yes, but I guess since she had me under a HOT dryer for 2 hours I don't think that was good.

i just used it again today first i used porosity control shampoo and then i mixed the conditioner and lekair cholestoral togethor and let it soak in my hair while i washed my body (i was in the shower) when i rinsed it out my hair felt so soft and ill definetley be adding this to my regime. i dont know if ill continue using the shampoo because i still like the moisture that CON leaves me.

Does it detangle well? Thats my major problem right now, I'm losing too much hair during washes (including conditioner wash).

i dunno if my comment helps, but when i had relaxed hair, i used to swim - ALOT - and the porosity control conditioner was recommended after using the neutralizing shampoo. The conditioner really helped with the strength and porosity of my hair.

This was good for my relaxed hair since the hair did not absorb so much chlorine.

This stuff is the best detangler I've ever used. Since I've got tons of new growth (i can't make up my mind if I want to be natural or not) It detangled so well, and made my hair unbelievably soft. Now that my hair is dry, it also made my texture come out a lot better, it's more defined.. it looks amazing.
