Hello all

I use Roux PC at every wash mixed with my DC to help detangle. Unfortunately, they have gone and changed the formula (in the UK anyway), its the same bottle but the substance is white, not blue and the bottle has pink writing on it. I can't find the old formula anywhere and this one tangled my hair really bad!

Are there any products out there that do the same thing and can be mixed with Keracare conditioners?

Thanks and God bless x

I can't find the old version, either, so I've been using Aloe Vera Juice. There's French Perm Stabilizer and a few others.

Calling IDareT'sHair. She has a good list of these.

I don't mix mine. But a great Alternative is Nexxus Ensure Acidifying Conditioner. It would mix well with a Conditioner.

In fact, a Stylist I use to go to, use to mix it with Grease to help problem areas.

Any Acidifying Conditioner will primarily do the same thing as Roux Porosity Control. French Stablizer Plus is another one the quickly comes to mind.

I keep Ensure in my Arensal, but I also use Hairveda's Phinising Rinse with is an ACV Mix.

The reason I don't mix it is, I use it to lower/restore the PH Balance as well as restrict & close cuticle after DC'ing with Heat or after Relaxing.

One I recently pick up is: Modern Organic Products Burdock Root Hair Rinse.

I personally like Vitale positive conditioner. The slip is out of this world as well. It mixed well with my other conditioners as well and made them super slippy.

I'm just looking for something at the moment as PC doesn't work for my hair really.

I have a bottle with around 1/5th gone which I believe is the old formula. If you want it you can PM me, but OK if not as I know some people don't like pre used bottles. You might find someone has a full old bottle in the hair exchange section:yep:.

Good luck finding something anyhoo. I think I will try the AVC

I noticed that I can't find it in the stores either.

Kind of OT: I haven't had a need for porosity control or substitutes since I stopped using silicones.

Thank u sooo much but a friend of mine has found a few bottles in her area and has brought them for me. Will start doing research on alternatives

I second the French Stabilizer rec. Amazing slip, makes my fine, tangle-prone hair easily combable. Don't know about mixing it, though, I use it as a final rinse.

Thanks ladies but it looks like French Stabiliser is not available in the UK. Any other recommendations?
