Kha said:Very nice Pookeylou! That Shealoe is working nicely on your hair. I was just trying to get into your "Chapter 2" album earlier today and couldn't get in with your other pw. Anyways, you're making great progress!

Thanks Pookeylou. Your hair looks great. I have some shea butter and I bought some aloe gel (the people at the healthfood store told me that the edible type was the best for my hair. I tried the regular gel and was not so impressed) and I think that I am going to try this. Did you use another leave in or you just used this after washing? I will definately try this. Thanks.pookeylou said:I wash my hair with a shampoo bar made with shea butter.
I then section my hair for two strand twist. I apply a bit of shealoe butter to each section before I twist it and then put it into a bantu knot.
You certainly could put a dap of shealoe into your hand, rub it in to melt it then spead it into your hair.
It will certianly make it shine.

pookeylou said:Nope...no other leave in. Just the shealoe. Now if I am going on the 2nd or third day of a twist out I will grab a handful of the shealoe or a handful of curl activator and put that in and the coils will pop back into shape.
TigerLily said:I tried shealoe butter. Didn't like it. It just sat on top of my hair and made it greasy. I use it as a skin moisturizer though!
Love your hair, pookey!
