is a ponytail that doesnt rub against your clothes/shoulders a protective style? and why/why not  like if it comes to the nape/middle of your neck but not touching it, get it? hmmmm....

It probably wont hold moisture in but, if you moisturize and seal and keep a loose, non-damaging ponytail holder, I don't see why it can't be?

JUst be careful when you're sitting down and leaning your head back on the chair or whatever.

I'd say no. 1.)If you have a collared shirt it might rub on it, and 2.)I consider protective styles to be protective of clothes AND air/wind exposure.

i will take a pic. my hair in a pony in from the top/middle of my head cant reach my collar. i get the wind part though. also if your hair is moisturized/healthy enough cant air hit it (not like im outside in extreme weather) without damage?

Sure. I wear ponytails all the time, I wear my hair down too.

I'm just saying, when it's comes to a full protective style, I don't want it exposed to fabric or air.

Just as if it was a lo-mani style, I wouldn't want to comb every other day, I would expect not to comb to days at a time.

If that made any sense to anyone besides me.:look:
