What exactly does pomade do? Would it define AND moisturize my curls? What are the typical ingredients in a pomade?

I think it depends on who you get it from and what it is used for. "pomade" is a generic term that refers to a greasy or wax substance used to style hair.

I have use Nature's Blessings Hair pomade, but really it is just a hair grease, in my opinion. I love it because it smells great and really conditions my hair.

I use Nature's Blessings too on my ends. Because it contains some mineral product (toward the end of the ingredient list), I don't use it on my scalp, but I find it a great addition to my hair product lineup. Once I get rest of the relaxed hair, I'll probably buy myhoneychilds Sofia hair grease.
