Pomada de Azufre: Does anyone use this (Sulfur 8 and MTG Alternative)?

Did you check Dollar General or Family Dollar? I found mine at DG, near the Hispanic products section.

I went to Family Dollar and they didn't have it either. This seems so strange to me, b/c I live in a place where there are a lot of Latinos, so it shouldn't be this hard to find this product. I even just called a Wal Mart in Miami (I don't live in FL) and they claim they didn't have it either!

I bought mine a couple of months ago from CVS in the hispanic beauty products section. I just came across it by accident. Wait, no, actually I found it near the pharmacy section on an endcap that has castor oil (for internal digestion), some essential oils, and other things like that, all in Spanish.

It doesn't really have much of a smell to me but it does leave a white residue if I get any on my hair (when putting it on my scalp). It doesn't really rub in very well for me.

I will def. finish the jar tho once I figure out what to mix it with to avoid the residue.

I bought some a while ago out of curiosity, and it is really gritty. Maybe I should try it, but I think I will mix it with something.

Those of you that are still looking, have you checked Walgreens? I bought a jar from a Walgreens in California the other day. It was next to the Black haircare products (latino products were there too).

I've use this. It's rather thick and gritty.

Just curious. IT has 10% sulfur in it!

I've been using it for a few weeks now. I mix it with MN and I'm getting some good growth. But like Kay Dee says, it's a little gritty. I'm going to start co-washing atleast 3X a week and clarify once a week to see if that helps with more growth.

I bought some a couple of months ago for my edges and nape...but didn't use it long enough to see if it worked. Like other posters have said it's really gritty and it has a very strong sulfur smell (which is why I stopped using it). I now use Sulfur 8 grease (light formula) which scent isn't much better but it's not as strong IMO.

How much do the jars cost at the Dollar General? I seen this at Wal Mart well Super Wal Mart in the hispanic section. They have oils and some hair products. I have seen this but I forgot why I never got it. Anyways while we are on the hispanic section anyone try Tres Flores? My friends in CO,the guys, would use this on their hair. It smells so good.

I've never seen it in Walmart but I have seen it in CVS and a local grocery store Fiesta.
