Would you date a self-proclaimed former pimp?

I normally do online:

QVC.com- for WEN & Ojon products
Curlmart.com- for WEN, Eluncence, and other PJ impulse shopping
Chazdeanstore.com- for WEN

I also get some things from health stores:

VitaminShoppe- for Jane Carter solutions, Aubrey Organics
Ellwood Thompson- for Castor oil

The only BSS I goto are:

Trade Secrets- for CHI
Sephora- for Ojon
Sallys- for rollers and bonnets, ORS mayo, Aphogee 2 min

So I guess I by products from everywhere other than the Asian BSS. :look:
 
Trade Secrets. Rite Aid, CVS, walmart. Beauty Supply Stores are overpriced and mix their products:nono:
 
Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc

We only have one bss here, and it SUCKS. For some reason, they have a bunch of good brands (Elasta QP, CON, etc) but they only carry the shampoos. No conditioner. WTH is up with that? How can you sell the poo and not the con? :confused:

I get most of my 'standard' hairstuff at the BSS, I get my 'mixture' ingredients online or from the grocery store, and I get my cheapie conditioner from BigLots/DollarTree/DollarGeneral/whoever is cheapest....
 
I normally buy online...but for something basic Walmart, sally's, or a Korean bss if I can't find it anywhere else.
 
I buy all of my Domincan products online. I buy my organic shampoos at health food stores. I also buy a few things at BSS.
 
Fortunately, where I live there are a billion BSS's. Between all of them, I can find any and every thing I need. I even got one of them to sell me the nozzle off of one of their lotion bottles. :grin: I needed it to put on my shampoo bottle.
 
Hmm, where I live there's NADA of any BSS in site :( We do have 2 Dollar Stores and 2 Grocery Stores here in this area where I get some of my hair stash from. But to really get what I'm looking for, I have to drive at least 15-20 min away to another town north and east to shop at BSS places there. But in general, I get my things from Dollar General, Family Dollar, Super Dollar, BSS, Sally's, WalMart, other grocery stores in the other towns. But mind you, I can spend all day in these stores and still not find all of what I'm looking for. I'm STILL trying to get me some VO5 Milks line and some Elasta QP Mango Butter!!! :( Have been looking for 'em for almost 2 WEEKS now! :(
 
I buy a lot of my products from Ricky's. It's not really a BSS.. well not IMO. They sell a lot of hair/body products and cosmetics.. but they also sell... a lot of other non hair kinda things :lachen:... I'll just leave it at that...
 
When I first got started, I was buying a lot of products such as KeraCare online such as Ebay, but now I shop at WalMart and Sally's and where the prices are cheap!! I'm looking for those Free.99 prices ladies!!
 
The local BSS are horrible IMO, especially the ones within city limits. all the stuff they sell there is junk. tons of mineral oil and alcohol. no wonder these women need weaves and have no hair :ohwell:

my moisturizer i have to buy online but shampoos and stuff i go to a supply store in the mall. 9 times out of 10 they have what i need and it is inexpensive. (this was the place i found my garlic shampoo at) so i do most of my shopping there. if they ever went out of business i would be screwed! :blush:

we have a sallies here but i haven't brought anything lately. they don't have the shampoo i use but they did have some other items i wanted to check out eventually.

so i guess the short answer is online and in stores

Online beauty supply because I've found I can buy large sizes of phyto not even sold in my local bss at Polly's.
