I'm 3abc and I use index 2. I wonder if Index 1 would be sufficient, but I don't want to underprocess.

Index 2 - I have used 1 in the past and it allowed me a longer processing time, but my hair still got straight the way I like it. Index 2 is the same for me, but I have to work faster. I really think it depends how if your hair is resistant and how fast it processes.

I use Index II and it gets my hair pretty straight. I use Index I on my Mom whose hair is a lot thinner (age) and it works very well but does leave some wave pattern. It just depends on your preference.

I'm 4a/b and I use Index II and my hair also comes out pretty straight. My friend is 3a/b and I will use Index I on her fine hair.

I'm 3c/4a...now I'm thinking 90% 4a. I have used Phyto II for almost 2 years. It usually gets my hair pretty straight, but since I've been mixing with 2 tsp of EFA I get a little more body. I think II is great for me, even with really fine hair.:yep:

I use Index II and I have 3b hair, just make sure you are generous and if you want it straighter make sure you smooth with your fingers.
