I know but we all do that .. I would visit DC threads hundreads of times just to make sure I am getting the exact product.

ntm leave-in. It leaves my hair uber silky and detangled. It never causes flakes and my hair is always moisturized whether I use heat or not. I am relaxed. HTH!

I cant vote cause I never used jane carter nourishing hair dress. Sorry but I am on the look out for a good leave in that is natural/orgain.

I do like Redken Butter Treat I think its called even though its not natural/organic.

I hope you get some answers soon.

Blessed, do you know what kind of ingredients your hair likes? If your hair likes cones, Id say get the NTM because its full of them. If you want to stay away from cones or your hair likes more natural ingredients id say go with Jane Carter. Personally, NTM made my hair immediately feel dull and dry. Jane Carter products, IMO, are very nourishing. Nourish and Shine has turned my hair around for the better. HTH

My hair does not like cones-- it doesn't hate cones either, but my hair behaves much better and i feel that it is truly moisturized when i use oils and butters. I don't get a ridiculous amount of buildup when i use JCNS. I need to re-up on it as we speak. Cones are okay in the beginning, but they just stop working after a while.

very true:yep:

I tried both, and NTM Silk Touch is now a staple for me. Silk touch is not greasy, and is the business on both wet and dry hair. I couldn't stand the Jane Carter's. It was greasy, and I didn't like it on dry hair. On wet hair it wsa better. I'm relaxed or rather texlaxed.

i have been using the ntm silk touch since i started my hair journey started in november 2008. lately, i have been having lots of build-up and have had to clarify quite frequently so i'm looking to test another moisturizer without cones. i do believe that cones stop working after awhile, at least they seem to have for my hair..thx again for your help!

I didn't vote because I've never tried the Jane Carter's. But, I really like NTM as a leave-in on dry hair sealed with some oils. I also started using Herbal Essesces LTR as a leave-in, and I like it, too. Plus, it smells awesome! My hubbs likes the smell, too.
