This poll if for the best cream moisturizer for flat ironed/blowout hair. Something that won't cause reversion or is heavy.

You don't have to write in the thread if you don't want to. I just ask that you vote if you can. I had a creme by Keracare that I gave to my sis, I don't want to be a "indian giver" so I mines will see what else is out there.:look:

i would vote but i honestly dont know. i am new to the forum and i have no clue. up untill now i have been using hot six oil when flat ironing my hair or cones. :perplexed

I chose the last option. I don't know about all the rest "sucking" but I adore my Jane Carter Nourish and Shine. I use it for everything.

I use thermasilk.
Sometimes I use a rinse out cond mixed with proclaim natural 7 oil, but the thermasilk got to the point!

I would say coconut oil. I use it on my roommate's ends. After that they look like a picture of healthy ends.

I'm interested in knowing this, too. I tried Profectiv Healthy Ends but it was too drying for my hair. I've also just used oils but of course, they are too oily. I recently ordered Verifens Constant Care for Ends and am hoping that will work well.

4b not yet relaxed, out of briads 3 days. Flat iron reverts. Looking for solution to get through the waiting period before my relaxer.

Thank you!!
Janet

I can't say they all suck, but I like Loreal Smooth-Intense Anti-Frizz Cream for moisturizing my flat-ironed hair. It never reverts and it is non-greasy like ORS Olive Oil tends to be.

a7_2.JPG

Smooth-Intense Anti-Frizz Cream, a rich, creamy leave-in formula that smoothes and tames thick, coarse hair, providing 100% more smoothness**

I do like ORS Olive Oil, though. THat is my 2nd choice. I love NTM for softness, but it tends to revert and/or kill any curls that I have.

ETA: The Qhemet Creams have been good to me as well.

i should look into buying something else. i have biosilk ... then i read all the bad things about it , i am really wanting to flat iron my hair again in about 2 weeks so i may purchase whatever is going to give me the best results. any suggestions??

I am a type 4 but I am relaxed. I am not sure how that works with pressed natural hair.

Were you using the Biosilk as heat protectant? I think Redken Heat Glide or Fantasia IC (in the pink bottle) are better.

Mizani H2O Night-Time Intense Treatment is my flat ironed hair's best friend.

 I was really trying to avoid that route. I know how expensive that stuff is. Dang, it really must be good huh.

I love it!

But you know what?? I dropped it this weekend and a whole BUNCH of it spilled out on the floor. I wanted to cry. I seriously got a little misty eyed.

Honeydew, don't you know you have to "hide" the good stuff! :sekret: Imma hafta slap my sister who keeps using up all of my Fantasia Thick and Shine gel. Shoot, that stuff is 4.00 a jar!

I have to say my jane carter nourish n shine. I would also say my sunsilk pink bottle leave in. After I flat iron I but a dap of it on and roll bug chunks on soem rollers while I get finish getting dressed and what now. Makes them really smooth.

Girl, the only reason why I know about the Loreal Smooth Intense is because he had it on his sink and I was all up in it! :) Even the Pantene comb in treatment, one of my staples, is one that I started buying because I was messing with his products.

But, you know what, I just noticed that he started using some other products and keeping them under the sink - maybe he is getting tired of me snagging his stuff. :D

I voted for QB heavy cream. It never reverts my hair and it actually makes the ends straighter.

i should probably get some of this, since my hair is natural and somewhere in the 3b-4a range.

how do you deal with your roots, or so u just let them stay wavy?

I put the cream on the roots too but I just noticed that it makes my ends look so much better.
