There’s no length requirements for henna – go ahead, enjoy!!
As for bunning, maybe if you make a small sock bun it will work but it may not be ass full looking as you’d like.
Can you try other styles till its long enough for bunning? Like flat twist or single twists?

I think that your hair could be put in a small bun as for the henna I have no ideaerplexed For Protective style you can also try a phony pony.
