I used Suave Awapuhi mixed with EVOO on dry hair as a pre-poo and my hair was like butter! I didn't even want to shampoo and deep condition. I will be using this technique and mixture from now on for CW's.

I know I keep pushing this...but my vote goes for Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Moisturizing Conditioner. It has good slip...is very thick...and moisturizes like a dream. Sherrylove recommended it to me a little over a year ago...and I haven't felt the need to switch to anything else since. The Island Naturals Replenishing Conditioner pretty good too (as far as I know neither are clarifying though).

I forgot about Aubrey Organics. Sherrylove recommended it to me too, and I love it!

VO5 Kiwi and lime
vo5 Tangerine tickle
are both clarfying conditioners

i agree and suave makes one that says clarifying on the bottle....it goes with their clarifying shampoo...

I use:
-Daily Defense Tender Apple
-Daily Defense Ginsing Boost
-Daily Renewal 5X Retame
-Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal
-Aussie Moist

All (in my opinion) pretty good with detangling thick, hard to manage hair.

  • Alberto VO5 (Kiwi & Lime is clarifying)
  • Suave (makes a clarifying condiitoner)
  • White Rain
  • Daily Defense

Sally's cheap gallon conditioners! Also, I love Suave Humectant, suave, vo5, St. Ives (hard to find).

I prefer Nutri-Ox Protect conditioner -- just right for everyday use ...not too heavy, not too light. Rinses clean without residue.

I loooooove this conditioner! But its a little too pricey for me to use for a cw too frequently ( I co wash a couple times a week).

I like Suave tropical coconut and Suave milk and honey. I really want to try Proclaim's Shea Butter and Aloe.

For co-washes, Nexxus Humectress and Pantene Hydrating Curls conditioners work really well for me!

And I use V05 Kiwi & Lime Squeeze clarifying shampoo. It leaves my hair squeaky clean but not dry.
