I just moved to Biloxi, Mississippi. Im natural and i getting tired of the same styles. Wash and go do not work for me. Since im not from here i cant find anyone to braid my hair nor do i know where a beauty supply store purchase a half wig for awhile. Helpppppppp

I'd say spend some time on youtube watching tutorials. I'm not the best hair stylist either, but watching the videos (a few times lol) gives me the courage to try something new. Experiment and see what works!

As far as finding wigs, are you comfortable purchasing online? They are cheaper (at least where I am from) purchasing online then in the BSS.

Check out craisglist in the beauty section to see if there are any braiders on there and ask them for pics of their work. That's how I found my stylist for my sew-ins.

Online wigs tend to be less expensive here as well. I would check Youtube for wig reviews, there are TONS of them and they usually give the site where they purchased the wig as well.

I don't know what to say about braiding as I haven't worn them in a loooong time.
