Okay ladies. PLEEEEEZE--if you have any advice please share. I have super dense, cottony hair that, although less than 2in from APL, shrinks up to the top of my neck when left alone after a wash. I want to be able to manage it myself and keep it healthy. I want to start rollersetting it but cannot use chemicals( I believe) because my strands are too fine.(Hair will break off) I have a friend who recommended a lady whom she says does an excellent job conditioning and rollersetting --but she charges 150.00 to do it.:ohwell: I WILL NOT pay that. Does anyone here have a hair type similar to mine and rollersets their hair(no relaxer) If so, can you PLEEEEEZE give me some directions, advice tips??? I have seen the rollerset turorials but their always on relaxed or straighter texured hair. HELP!!!!!

I'm Bumping this for you...You are in LA, and a lot of women there are natural because the weather is not humid. My sister lives there and she's natural, but she mostly get her hair flat ironed. It's super healthy. I haven't seen natural hair roller set before. I'd be interested to see if that could be done succesfully....I guess you would have to stretch the hair very well on the roller and then dry on high heat?? That's a guess...

Thanks ladies for your responses. I know that rollersets are usually reserved for relaxed hair but I have seen naturals have it done--but for 150.00:ohwell: I'm looking for those who are natural that manage to rollerset or get theirs rollerset--if they have any advice.
