I just joined LHCF this morning, but I've been lurkin since March :rolleyes:

I'm about 4-5 inches all over so I THINK I qualify for nape length, and my DREAM is to make it to BSL in about 1 1/2 years.:grin:

Has anyone you know on this site had AMAZING growth in such a short time?

Well, it depends on how tall you are. In a year and a half, assuming an average growth rate, you should have anything from 7-9 inches of hair. Is BSL within that distance from your nape? If so, it's definitely possible.

Now, if BSL is 16 inches from your nape - nah, sis, it might not happen in 1.5 years....
 
It will grow and it may take some time. You might want to just relax and enjoy the hair growing journey. Every step is an accomplishment. Anyway, welcome to the club.

Okay, so BSL is a full 12 inches from my nape. (I'm 5 foot 8)
LOL how about we make it an even 2 years???:lachen:

Why would we boo you? We're all chasing BSL or longer...and if we/you can do it in 1.5 years, great! :grin:

Boo you, why do you think you'd be booed:perplexed?...We are 90% helping one another here. Your concern is real so you'll get answers{ I'm being redundant 'cause you've seen what others have written already}. Hair grows about 6 inches in a year...your 2 year growth should be about 12 inches. Unfortunately, sometimes things happen which cause you to break hairs,experience hair loss stress, jump on the wrong bandwagon or product, mess up your hair,need to trim or cut out knots. Take your time to gain healthy hair then growth is a bonus. Stick with the board and you'll be a long, healthy haired member in time.

Hey I'm 5ft 8 too! My hair tends to grow on the faster side so if your hair growth avg is more than .5 inch I think you could make it easily in the 1 1/2yrs
 
Another Amazon in the house (5'9"). Two years is realistic with a tight regimen, a growth aid and very little trimming.
