..O my Goodness!! I know that I'm a product Junkie but I didn't realize how embarrassed it would be to get caught having sooooo many products!
A friend of mines came by and to make a really long story short...She ended up seeing alot but not All my hair supplies! I was Too Embarrasssed!!!!!!! I have bins and bins and bins , several 3 drawer tower filled to capacity...And that's only in one of my extra bedrooms!

She looked at me like I was a Crack Head!! but I have to admit I have given away quite a few items and Wellllll, I do have a tendacy to overstock on products I really love! And sad enough I don't know how to control myself when it comes to overstocking my favs.

Please O Please someone chime in and say I'm not alone! Or atleast give me a remedy to Just Say NO!:lachen: I'm chuckling, but I really was ashamed after getting busted like that..good thing she didn't see the closet in my Masterbed room!:(

ETA: o by the way, she didn't leave without asking me how can she get her hair to grow and not stay a tangled dry mess.

Girl, I try to hide my stuff for this very reason. people will think I'm crazy. I don't even use all the stuff I own.

Yesterday, my BF asked me where he could get some of that Kenra Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. He had a sample from a few months ago and finally tried them. Anyway, he wanted to pick some up because he really liked them but did not like the price. This is a "pantene-on-sale" type of man.

I told him not to waste his money. In my hair care closet, I have one 10 oz bottle of both the conditioner and shampoo and a liter size of the shampoo. He looked at me like :look:

I was like - don't ask, just please take them from me - I need help!

You are definitely not alone!!!

I’m also really embarrassed that I, too, actually started noticing my hair supply cabinet filling up and had to recruit a large, spare box and tote bags for the excess. :o I’m not a product junkie, per se, but I am a conditioner junkie. The sad part is, I actually use most of what I own—although, some I only use during certain seasons. Ans some things I just get down-right bored with, even if it’s working.:look:

Well, no more!!! I’ve put myself on a Product Elimination Challenge / Bootcamp for the summer to use up all the products. :armyhat: I have a new regimen and staple products that I will use exclusively come the Fall, regardless of the season, and must get rid of the riffraff.

I intend to lead an ascetic hair-life from now.

:lachen: That part had me cracking up!

You guys are not alone on this. I have a "product closet" downstairs that my hubby always says looks like Target. The kind of pjism I have is a very specific strain. I am no longer just haphazardly jumping on bandwagons just because someone mentions a product. But I too have begun buying favorite items in triplicate and beyond. And NTM, fogetaboutit! It was on sale for $3.99 last week, I bought lots of the DDC, the Mask, and Silk Touch. I also threw in a serum and poo in there for good measure. :sekret:

But my real sickness is for VO5 conditioners. They're on sale at the A&P for 69 cents this week and I found myself buying 7 more bottles, even though I have a cabinet full already. :whyme:

And that's just the tip of the iceberg of how I keep my faves well stocked. All I can say is, pray for me!
