i spent lots of time trying to get to bra strap this past year, but i think i'm giving up and chopping. I never do anything with my hair anyway, so i might as well keep it ultra short (at least it's sassy this way). It's ultra layered and will never be all one length anyway...tell me at least ONE person is thinking the same.

I loved my page boy cut last year

It was similar to the way asians get their hair cut in a bob. Really swingy and choppy ends :winks:

I used to love a well cut layered hairdo, the problem is that if you decide to grow it out later it will take sooo long to get those layers to catch up. I've been trying to get rid of my layers, but with patience, I know I'll get there!!

thanks for all the input, ladies! even my husband is saying, go for it. i can't wait for a "fresh start" in DC. if there are any recommendations for a stylist in that area, i'm all ears!

Coffy, thank you! I did have my hair cut this way two other times and i honestly believe this is more attractive for my face than longer hair. The compliments don't stop coming when my hair is CHOPPED.

candibaby, it's like Halle Berry's cut, but a little messier in my case...tapered sides and back with some messy length on top. it's great.

Hi Leshia!

You do have the face for it.

I'm actually considering this cut myself, but I'm doing it because of breakage. Although, my stylist says I can recover by cutting gradually, I just don't have the patience, plus it's the summer! Anyway, one thing you have to consider is that when you're ready to grow it back, be ready to face some challenges, perhaps greater than growing out layers. Also, less versatility...One more thing I've noticed, just my personal experience is that stylists who are great at styling aren't great with taking care of the hair and stylists that are good about healthy hair don't seem to be great at styling...A great stylist can do both though, so good luck in your search for a new stylist...

If you do get the cut, don't forget to post pics!
