Victoria44 Lots and lots of heat protectant! I do have a couple of strands that don't curl up as much due to heat damage but it's not serious enough for me to cut them. Hope this helps :)

GREAT PROGRESS! How long did you wear extensions for? Right now I'm @ your BC stage with only 3 inches and I'm quite depressed about how long it going to take to grow out long and healthy. I found your post quite inspiring, right on time.

I was a bio major so I'm all about DNA:grin:

My regimen is pretty simple.
I wash every 1-2 weeks with Mizani's Moisturfusion Milk Bath.
I follow that up with Mizani's Moisturfusion Silk Cream Conditioner.
Every 6 weeks I do a light protein treatment with Aphogee's Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructor and then deep condition with Silk Elements MegaSilk Moisturizing Treatment.

I use shea butter and Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie to moisturize and seal. I wear my hair in either a braid out, bun, or in twists. I'm really busy with school so I don't have much time for trying out cool hairstyles :ohwell:

Thank you! I went to a hairstylist and had her flat iron my hair. I don't remember her doing anything too fancy. She used some sort of FHI flat iron and the salon's line of shampoo.

I wore them for about 6 months until I had enough hair to twist comfortably. After that, my hair seemed to explode :lol: Your hair will grow, just give it time :yep:
