Ok so I'm going to experiement with pin curls today. I know a lot of ladies use them as a way to maintain a style, but does anyone do pin curls as a way to set their hair? I plan on doing the pin curls right after dcing and then getting under the dryer. This should dry pretty quick. Anyone do this before? What were your results? How long did it take to dry? Was it curly or straight?

I have never done this on my hair, but I am a cosmo student and did this just yesterday. If you use this as a way to set your, the curl will depend on how tight you pin the hair. The drying time will be dependant on how long and how thick your hair is.

I always get dents and and/or uneven blocky looking curls when I try it. How do I prevent that?
