Pill chopper??

Does anyone use these for large oval shaped pills? There's no line down the middle like I have on my calcium pills, so I'm wondering how effective a pill chopper would be. I don't want to crush them, just cut them in half.

I just started taking an amino acid pill that is the largest pill I've ever seen in my life! It's larger than GNC's 1500 mg MSM pill, which I also take. This pill is 3/8" wide and 7/8" long. I can feel it hitting the top of my throat and every time I take one, it gets harder and harder. It's mental. I've taken 3 so far today. I would like to take 5 each day. Unless I can chop them in half, I don't think that will happen.

sometimes its hard to cut a pill that isn't scored. And if you get it cut it can wind up being jagged and get caught inyour throat. Be careful.
