thought y'all might be interested to see how her fusion weave turned out...

she goes in for "maintenance" today... i guess to have it re-tightened or something... she's had it in for a month or so. i'm keeping my eye on her real hair, hoping that this doesn't cause too much damage in the long run. she's only keeping it in until summer because she says all that hair is too hot, LOL

i mean what can you do, it looks great but keep an eye on her hair...I still want some but i know that it may end in badness.. what hair type are you again. your curls are FABULOUS

mostly 4a... i have some 3c and 4b thrown in there too.

i used to be textlaxed too! of course it wasn't intentional, my hair just doesn't take to relaxers well... and this was before i was on hairboards so i was over-processing my hair and then burnin the mess out of it with heat ALL THE TIME...

anyway back on topic - even though my sis didn't listen to me about getting the weave in the first place, i am trying to make sure she at least tries to take good care of it. i want her real hair to have a little damage as possible. i'm trying to tell myself it'll probably be okay since she doesn't plan to keep it in for too long... :perplexed

Her hair came out great! What's a fusion weave? Is it braided in? BTW, your hair is beautiful!

no it isnt braided. the weaving hair is bonded directly to your hair with a keratin glue. It is expensive, an dmay cause damage to your hair in the long run. A lot of people complain of breakage at the site of the bonded area..
