It took 8 hours. Is that about right for this type of style? How long u think it may last me?

I am not sure, but I'm assuming she means hair that was part of a fake pony. Guess you cut off the net part where the hair is attached and use the hair like you would extension hair. Am I right PittGirl?

PittGirl, very nice job. Not sure what you mean by "tight" but they look very neat and it's good if they aren't painfully tight. How long they'll last... hard to say. But the recommended time is two months if you won't be retouching them. See www.growafrohairlong.com

pony hair is just a type of synthetic fiber. I dont know if it comes from a horse or not...I dont think it does.
