I did the same thing had some nice curls...big chopped yesterday and the rest of my head is one big nap so can't go by that.

Lol, I have a snippit in the front too. I was thinking of cutting across for a natural bang, but didn't bother. Left to air dry, the new growth will be coils and relaxed part hangs.
