I tried to dye my hair with some clairol mess. The color didn't take but it sure did some thing to the hair texture.

Wish I had some advice for you...
I just wanted to say I like the texture of your hair. To me it doesn't look that frizzy at all, I wish mine would get little curls like that.

Pic wont show for me. I wish I hadda talked to you before... Color can do a doozy on your hair... Deep conditioning will now become a major part of your life.

I can't see the pics either. But just make sure you use products that will provide a balance between moisture and protein. Do weekly deep conditioning and keep your hair moisturized really well.

Try the picture now ladies. I put in another texture picture. I really messed up trying that damn Clairol dye instead of just a rinse.
My old products are not working its magic.

Sounds like you need to deep condition. I can't not DC if I use any type of color so I do it weekly like clockwork. During the week I use Nexxus Ensure especially since I do color rinses because it helps to keep my hair from getting utterly ridiculous. I still have bottles of the old stuff and I haven't ventured anywhere near the new stuff.

BUT, you could try porosity control instead if you don't want to spend all that money on Nexxus because they do the same thing pretty much.

There's some slight differences in PH though; PC being 4.5, NE being 3. PC has more a more chemical and my nose can't exactly appreciate its bouquet:lol: . However, I've used both interchangeably without any damage to my hair. I think Sallys still sells the small bottles of PC, I don't know if all of them sell nexxus though.

I also have to up the moisture a little bit the week after I use color, so you may just need to add some extra somewhere. I use waterbased moisterizers since they work best on me.

Since I don't use full permanant color (only demi's for me) I don't know that this would absolutely change your texture back to what it was before, but it may certainly help you to manage whats going on up there.

Hopefully you'll have a little less frizz to deal with (I personally think your hair is GORGEOUS:love: , but thats just me)
