...what are your styling techniques?

I recently relaxed with an Index 1 on virgin hair.

I noticed whenever I wet my hair or let it air-dry, I end up with loose curls and waves (to my pleasurable surprise), which made me wonder if I could explore curly styling options, like wash and go's.

If that's possible, can I use products such as Kinky Curly and Miss Jessie's?

This happens to me, and I actually don't like it. I own Miss Jessie's Curly Meringue and Stretch Silkening Creme, which I use for braidouts. I purchased a sample of Quick Curls to try scrunching my hair and letting it air-dry, but I have yet to try it....just don't have the time...the Quick Curls bottle says it can be used for scrunching relaxed hair to create a curly style.

and now my hair is cornrowed, so it'll be a while

Interesting! I'm going to keep that in mind!

I work out 4x a week and I don't want to use heat more than once a week (I'm jawlength with permanent color and a clear Sebastian Laminates Cellophane), so this may be a solution.

I forgot about braidouts. Thanks!
