Phonyponies = laziness

Ever since I bought my first phony pony and wore it, I actually liked the way that it looked, I liked it so much that I don't want to try any other styles! I've become too lazy and dependent on it to want to try another style because it would involve too much work!! Can anyone else relate? How can I snap out of this ritual?

It really does look fantastic. I wish I could get one to look like that on my head.

I have gone through that kind of thing though when I was wearing ponytails. Unfortunately for me, if it's not the ponytail, then it's a bun or something else because I am completely lazy when it comes to styling my hair. I don't feel like putting in the effort anymore.

I can def. relate. I have been using these as my protective style since late December. It's hard transitioning out of this though...my hair isn't used to being out anymore so I'm a little lost on how to wear my hair down now because I haven't done it anymore and I dont even have the same products or routine that I had back then. Plus I have about 13 phony ponies in different styles and I switch up every 2 weeks. It's addictive.

ETA: Yours looks really good. I've never worn one like high up I always pick the curly ones and wear it in a low ponytail or a bun. They seen to blend better with my ng.

I honestly wish I got a warning before hand about the laziness attached to these things . If anything I'll just use them to give my hair a break, I should really see some growth by doing so.

This may actually be a good thing because you aren't doing to much to your hair so your hair which will allow your hair to grow more. I'm sure once you reach your goal length you be showing your hair off .

Yep, sure can. I have a phony pony that I twist into a bun and wear about 98% of time. I did try a rollerset after a fresh perm I did last week, but it is a lot of work and of course I am just lazy. I also did a braid out two weekends in a row, but then back to my phony pony, because it is quick and easy. I guess the solution would be to hide it, which would probably force us to be more creative and get out of the lazy mood. I hope.

depending on what type of bun (cuz I've tried them all!). When I tried the sock bun I used a ponytail that when sitting at earlength came to SL. For a big bun twisted around like I do now I used a longer one that comes to APL or longer. I purchased the Louisiana Girl one from FreeTress and ended up cutting about 3 inches off. I say just buy a long one and then cut it and bun it until u get the size bun thats perfect for u.
